  1. I recently read Mo Willems' THAT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA to a Kindergarten class, and they *loved* the twist at the end. I'd pair this one with Aaron Reynolds and Peter Brown's CREEPY CARROTS for picture book surprise endings.

    Thanks for the recommendations!

  2. Chomp is my favorite book by Hiaasen, and I will read ANYTHING by Korman. He has a good new one out in August that's available on Netgalley.com-- The Hypnotists. Looks like you have plenty to read, though!

  3. What a great list of books!
I have not read the most recent Hiaasen, but Ms. Yingling makes me really want to read it.
Hattie Ever After is such a wonderful piece of historical fiction. Just amazing.
Did you like Dead End in Norvelt? It was an acquired taste. I really liked it :)
NEED to read Teach Like a Pirate - it has recently been on my radar.

Thank you so much for participating in IMWAYR and happy reading this week :)
